RaJon Staunton (they/them) is a queer Black writer, visual artist, editor, and scholar from Beckley, West Virginia. Their poems and other writing have been published in Parentheses Journal, Foglifter Journal, EcoTheo Review, Poet Lore, Hobart, Teen Vogue's States of Pride, 100 Days in Appalachia, Mirage Magazine, Et Cetera Literary Journal, wildness, and The Lumiere Review. They are pursuing their MA in English at Marshall University, where they also received undergraduate degrees in Creative Writing and Literary Studies. Currently, RaJon is the Social Media Editor for UnCollected Press/The Raw Art Review.

RaJon is one of the recipients of Cave Canem and the EcoTheo Collective's 2022 Starshine and Clay Fellowship. As well as being named a finalist in the 2021 Variant Lit Microchap Contest, their work has been recognized and supported by Marshall University (William J. Maier Awards for Poetry and Critical Graduate Writing, Wallace E. Knight Excellence in Writing Award) and AWP (Honorable Mention in Creative Nonfiction, 2021 Intro Journals Project).
